The City of Helsingborg is now issuing an RFI (Request for Information) to examine how the private sector would build a permanent link between Helsingborg and Helsingør.

H22 City Expo is officially over. From 30 May to 3 July, Helsingborg was a hive of activity that attracted industry visionaries, curious residents, urban changemakers, young innovators, adventurous tourists, and passionate people – all coming together in Helsingborg. More than 45 countries and as many as half of Sweden’s municipalities visited H22, among many others.
The City of Helsingborg has been granted USD 400 000 from Bloomberg Philanthropies to build a competence centre for the development of biochar at the Helsingborg recycling plant. Helsingborg is one of only seven cities in the world to receive financial support.
At H22 City Expo, leading representatives for the logistics chain will sign the Helsingborg Declaration, the logistics sector’s equivalent to the Paris Agreement, with sights set on becoming climate neutral by 2030. Among the powerful stakeholders that are first to sign are Scania, Volvo Truck Center, Postnord TPL, Peab, Schenker, Skanska, and the Port of Helsingborg.

H22 City Expo invites visitors to explore the future landscape of architecture, design, and urban planning with contributions from a range of leading experts, architects, and designers during the 35-day expo in Helsingborg, 30 May-3 July. Visitors can enjoy a diverse programme of exhibitions, seminars, guided city tours, and architectural installations.

The biggest names in Nordic gastronomy join local eateries and even a Swedish astronaut to explore the future of tasty sustainable food at H22 City Expo. The programme includes exclusive dinners with guest chefs coming to cook up a storm in a show kitchen for those quick enough to nab a ticket. There are only 25 seats available for each dinner, and tickets can be bought starting 14 April at 10 am.
Valencia, Oslo, Greater Copenhagen, Tampere, Tallinn, and Linz are kicking off H22 City Expo with four days of groundbreaking innovations – all aimed at improving life in smart and sustainable cities. From 30 May to 2 June, visitors will be able to explore and even help develop the very latest in smart city solutions at the Urban Brilliance exhibition during H22 City Expo in Helsingborg, Sweden.
Europe’s biggest conference on sustainable cities, the United Nations, Michelin star chefs, world artists, Europe's most innovative cities, and up to 100 official partners from the business sector, academia and civil society will all be in town when Helsingborg invites the world to H22 City Expo – a 35-day international event with over 300 programme features this summer.
