    The currently applicable restrictions on cruise ship disembarkation will be eased as of today, 20 August, so that both vaccinated and Covid-19 tested cruise passengers have the possibility to disembark in Denmark. This may give hope for a late summer with increased activity in the port of Copenhagen.

    The cruise ship Vasco da Gama calls Copenhagen today with 350 fully vaccinated passengers, who will therefore have the opportunity to disembark and visit Copenhagen as the first cruise guests since 2019.

    Now the DFDS ferries in Copenhagen will be receiving shore power

    ​The work to establish a shore power facility at the DFDS ferry terminal in Copenhagen is in full swing. The initiative is a joint collaboration between CMP and DFDS, with the Swedish company Actemium as contractor and COWI as technical advisor. The facility is expected to be operational in late summer 2021 and will makes it possible for DFDS’ ferries to significantly reduce CO2 emissions.
