Support For Young People in Mourning
The Aroundtown Foundation, dedicated to social commitment, provides financial support to the UK-based nonprofit organization "Let's Talk About Loss". This association focuses on providing support for young people aged 18 to 35 who are dealing with a bereavement.
"Let's Talk About Loss" was launched on March 31, 2021. The association is dedicated to reducing the suffering and isolation of young mourners by offering counseling, group meetings, and a variety of projects. By providing a safe space for open conversations, the association enables young people who have experienced a loss to process their grief together. This aid by Aroundtown Foundation is intended to help the association expand its capacities and lay a solid foundation for future growth.
Beth French, the founder and director of "Let's Talk About Loss", says: "At Let's Talk About Loss, our vision is that no young griever grieves alone. We are grateful to the Aroundtown Foundation for a significant donation which helps us work towards that vision. In the UK, 77% of people aged 18-35 have experienced bereavement, yet 39% feel "uncomfortable" talking about it. With the support of the Aroundtown Foundation, we are able to run our peer support meet up groups all over the UK and enable more young grievers to find support."
With its pledge of support, the Aroundtown Foundation once again underlines its support to social projects that have a positive impact on the common good.

The foundation assumes social responsibility and provides targeted and pragmatic support for projects and institutions in the neighborhood surrounding the portfolio.
