New Digital Research Platform for Hydrogen-Related Training Courses

A new digital research platform on the HYPOS website now offers a comprehensive overview of hydrogen-related training opportunities. This initiative, developed by the Fraunhofer IKTS and HYPOS team commissioned by the DGB's REVIERWENDE project, addresses the increasing demand for qualifications resulting from the hydrogen market's ramp-up. Until now, a structured information resource that reflects the growing importance of hydrogen technologies and the need for skilled workers has been lacking.

The platform builds upon the previously published "Way to H2" overview, which summarizes training opportunities in Germany's four coal-mining regions. It has now been further developed into an interactive search tool that displays approximately 200 training programs nationwide, as well as additional national and international offerings. Various filter functions facilitate targeted searches for different audiences, such as students, career changers, and human resources departments. Institutions can also submit their own training programs.
