Travel across Spain with Renfe's new one-day routes

Renfe is set to run thematic tourist trains throughout 2022 in partnership with various institutions and tourist organisations. In Galicia, up to 13 one-day routes will be scheduled for the season. In Castilla-La Mancha, the classic ‘Medieval Train’ will run between Madrid and Sigüenza. And, as the latest addition to the programme, the ‘Train of the Mills’ will be launched between Madrid and Campo de Criptana.

Renfe's thematic tourism proposals in Castille and León are the Wine, Canal of Castile, Zorrilla, Teresa of Ávila and Antonio Machado trains. This is alongside Asturias and Madrid, where the Cervantes train runs every Saturday to facilitate visits to Alcalá de Henares.

The company will continue to maintain its cleaning and disinfection procedures for all trains in 2022, which have been certified by AENOR and SGS in COVID-19 safety for passenger transport. These seals are part of the ‘Safe Train’ programme, set up to offer passengers maximum safety and peace of mind when travelling by train.
