Spain will be part of the Espoo Ciné International Film Festival

The Spanish Tourist Office in Helsinki participates at the Espoo Ciné International Film Festival that will take place from 29 August to 4 September 2022. Among the different actions planed, the printed program for the film festival will include a visual from the You Deserve Spain campaign that shows Spain as a cultural destination.

In addition, a promotional video will be displayed during the Espoo Ciné International Film Festival. The video, which also belongs to the You Deserve Spain campaign, highlights the rich historical heritage found all over Spain, and it will be displayed before the Spanish films that will be broadcast during the event. The Spanish films include The Radio Amateur by Iker Elorrieta, Official Competition by Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, The Daughter by Manuel Martín Cuenca, Lullaby by Alauda Ruiz de Azua, You Have to Come and See It by Jonás Trueba and Out of Syncby Juanjo Giménez.

Espoo Ciné International Film Festival

The Espoo Ciné International Film Festival is a showcase of modern European cinema in Finland and is dedicated to broadcast films that show the diversity of European filmmaking. The festival puts an emphasis on new talent, discovery and artistic quality, and it includes a programme for children and youth called Junior Ciné.

The main goal of the event is to create a unique experience and an inspiring meeting place for different audiences, including professionals from the film industry and media, as well as to promote films that would not usually be available on Finnish screens.

Strategy and investment of Paradores de Turismo de España S.A (the company running the state-owned hotel network)
TURESPAÑA carries out its activity abroad through the network of Spanish Tourism Offices (Oficinas Españolas de Turismo), which depend on Spain’s embassies and consulates.
