KEB Trousers - Fjällräven launches their most technical trekking trousers ever.

Durable, pliant and with well-thought-through details and fit – these are just some of the characteristics of Fjällräven’s most technical trekking trousers ever. Fjällräven’s new top model has been given the name KEB TROUSERS. They are ideal for demanding trips such as up to the top of Sweden’s highest mountain – Mt. Kebnekaise – or even higher.

KEB TROUSERS have been developed for demanding trekking excursions, where freedom of movement and durability are of the highest priority. The trousers are made from two different materials, stretch fabric in polyamide and durable G-1000® Eco in recycled polyester and organic cotton. This combination gives the best imaginable pliancy while still providing protection against difficult terrain and durability that will last for many years of use.

The trousers are light, fast drying and hardwearing and are perfect for all types of outings in the summer mountains. Worn over a base layer, they are also suitable for colder conditions. The rear and knees are pre-shaped for a comfortable fit and the rear seam is extra strong to withstand hard wear. G-1000® Eco gives extra durability over the rear and knees, on the front of the thighs and the inner, lower legs, where there is a second layer of fabric to withstand extra wear from trekking boots.  Stretch fabric is used at the back below the waist and for the rest of the trousers to make it easy to lengthen your stride. The waist has a high cut at the back and a lower cut at the front for extra comfort when wearing a backpack.

KEB TROUSERS are full of practical and carefully-designed details. For example, there are zippers from the knees to the hips at the sides to ventilate out excess heat, plus ventilation openings along the lower legs that "pump" in air as you walk. There are two generous leg pockets with room for a map, and hand pockets that are highly positioned so that contents stay in place, even when sitting or crouching down. There is an extra panel at the groin and the seams at the insides of the thighs have been moved forward to reduce the risk of chafing. The trousers have a strap adjustment at the leg endings, and a boot hook that can be fastened to boot laces, so that the trouser legs do not ride up.

KEB TROUSERS are available in both men’s and women's models in sizes 44-60 respectively 34-48.
