A hundred years ago the search for a deepened experience of sounds, intervals and tones led to the emergence of the new lyre. Since then, it has been developed further by instrument makers and pieces have been written especially for it by composers such as Siegfried Thiele and György Kurtág.
The charity concert on 28 June, which will open the Summer of Culture at the Goetheanum, will also constitute the Goetheanum‘s festive reopening after cultural venues were locked down by the Swiss government in March.
Eurythmy is lived on stage as the production of spoken language, musical and dramatic events as well as in an educational, therapeutic and social context. What is special: There is no age limit for eurythmy to show a joy for life.
