The Gothenburg Port Authority and Stena Line have today signed an agreement that enables the planned relocation of Stena Line's operations to Arendal in the Port of Gothenburg to enter an even more operational phase. On 3 March, logistics company DFDS is launching a new fleet of 20 electric trucks in Gothenburg. This is the single biggest delivery of heavy electric trucks in the Nordic region. The new electric trucks will be based in the DFDS truck depot in Arendal, in the outer area of the Port of Gothenburg.
As of 1 March, electric trucks are being granted priority passage and handling in the container terminal at the Port of Gothenburg.
