Project Skandia Gateway shares the SGB Awards victory with future generations

Project Skandia Gateway has won the SGB Award for Sustainable Infrastructure. Through climate-smart solutions, the project achieved a 30% reduction in CO₂ emissions at an additional cost of only 1% of the total budget, proving that major infrastructure can be both sustainable and cost-effective.

Service ship to be converted to hybrid operation – saves 680 tonnes of carbon dioxide

During the second quarter of 2022 the service ship Northern Skagerrak will be converted to hybrid operation. It will run mostly using electric power although there will also be an auxiliary engine that runs on the renewable fuel HVO.
