Hack for Earth Foundation visits EXPO 2020 Dubai!

Hack for Earth Foundation had a very productive visit in Dubai last week, meeting with the team organizing Expo2020, filming material for the Dream for Earth campaign at the World Exhibition Area, and also meeting with several partner organisations for the Hack for Earth Project. Hack for Earth Foundation was represented in Dubai by our Founder and Secretary General Ann Molin and her PA Mustafa Sherif.

Highlights from our visit to Expo2020 in Dubai:

  • Meeting with Commissioner General Mr Jan Thesleff of the Swedish Pavilion, planning for our collaboration on the Hack for Earth project
  • Visiting the Expo2020 area with Expo2020 Communications Team
  • Photoshoot for the Dream for Earth campaign together with the Expo2020 Film CREW
  • Productive meetings with several partner organisations on site, planning for our collaboration on the Hack for Earth project.

    It is time to kick off the project Hack for Earth at Expo2020, the biggest online hackathon ever, to create the world of tomorrow at Expo 2020 Dubai, opening on October 1st 2021. We are proud to introduce our operative dream team for this mission: Carolina Emanuelson – Partner Manager Jasmin Elmi – Operations Manager Love Dager – Hackathon Manager Victor Ganguly – Community Manager.

  • Two more doers joins the Hack for Earth Foundation Board

    We are proud to announce that the Board of Hack for Earth Foundation is complete. Our Founder and Secretary General Ann Molin has been joined by the two amazing board members Marie Claire Maxwell and Mikael Ahlström. Our first project, Hack for Earth at the World Exhibition, Expo 2020 Dubai, is already happening and we are now recruiting and closing agreements with key partners.
