Haglöfs and Twiceme Bring Digital Safety Technology to Winter Apparel for the First Time
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, October 23, 2025 — Haglöfs, the renowned Swedish outdoor brand today announced its partnership with Twiceme Technology, a company building the digital safety standard for jobsites and adventures. The collaboration integrates Twiceme's innovative digital safety technology into the new Haglöfs ski touring set. The integration marks Twiceme's entry into the winter outdoor apparel market, empowering outdoor adventurers to be more proactive about their safety.
The partnership combines Haglöfs' decades of expertise in creating high-performance outdoor gear with Twiceme's cutting-edge digital safety solutions. Founded in 1914, Haglöfs is a pioneer in outdoor clothing and equipment, building a reputation for innovative, sustainable gear that enables outdoor enthusiasts to safely push their limits. By embedding Twiceme's near-field communication (NFC) technology directly into clothing, Haglöfs customers will have instant access to critical safety features that could prove vital in emergencies.

Haglöfs new ski touring set, released FW26, will now feature Twiceme's suite of safety capabilities through the Twiceme smartphone app, including a Medical ID feature that enables users to upload vital health information, such as allergies, medical conditions, medications, and emergency contacts. First responders can instantly access this life-saving information by simply hovering their smartphone over the Twiceme symbol on the apparel. The safety features also include:
● Share Location lets select users see real-time location, helping them keep track of their teams or groups.
● Emergency Services function enables users to manually trigger emergency notifications when they recognize danger, utilizing GPS capabilities to pinpoint their last known location for a rapid response.
● Get Back Timer enables users to set expected return times, automatically alerting designated contacts if they fail to come back as scheduled.
● Immobility Alert detects prolonged immobility, which could indicate someone is incapacitated. If a user does not respond to a mobile notification, it triggers an emergency alert as the individual can’t answer for themselves.
