Haglöfs Moves its Headquarters to Slakthusområdet
Outdoor brand Haglöfs has signed an agreement with Atrium Ljungberg to lease 1,400 m² of office space in Stockholm’s Slakthusområdet district. Haglöfs will move to its new premises in autumn 2026, which will serve as the company’s headquarters and showroom.
In November next year, Haglöfs will move into Lilla Marknadshallen, one of Slakthusområdet’s historic buildings. The building is renowned for its unique industrial architecture and is currently undergoing a careful renovation. Establishing the new headquarters marks a strategic step for Haglöfs, as both the building and the dynamic district reflect the company’s identity and brand positioning. Slakthusområdet is evolving into a vibrant neighborhood in Stockholm where innovation, design, culture, gastronomy, and creative workplaces meet. This environment perfectly aligns with Haglöfs’ ambition to further strengthen its position as an innovative and progressive brand.
“Slakthusområdet combines history and future in a way that feels perfectly aligned with Haglöfs. Here, we have the opportunity to create a workplace that inspires our people, reflects our culture, and strengthens our innovative spirit. This is not just a relocation of an office – it’s a step into the next phase of our journey as a brand and as a company,”
says Martin Daniels, CEO of Haglöfs.
With its new headquarters, Haglöfs will join the growing cluster of prominent companies in the area, including A house and Menigo. Atrium Ljungberg’s ongoing development of Slakthusområdet continues to attract brands and organizations with strong creative ambitions.
“We are very pleased that Haglöfs has chosen Slakthusområdet for its new headquarters. It is a brand with a strong identity and high ambitions in design, creativity, and innovation – exactly the type of company that helps shape the character of this area. Slakthusområdet is defined by the organizations that operate here, and Haglöfs adds another dimension,” says Petter Klingofström, Leasing Manager at Atrium Ljungberg.
The lease agreement is a so-called green lease – an arrangement between landlord and tenant to implement joint measures that maintain or improve the property’s environmental performance.
