HAGLÖFS WEATHERPROOF COMPANION – RAPAK PONCHO
Innovation has always been part of Haglöfs' DNA and with the Rapak Poncho, Haglöfs fuses innovation with minimalistic design for a modern take on a traditional raincoat. It's a super-light shell jacket that packs down extremely effectively and can be unfurled and put on in a flash. As Jenny Kjellbom, Senior Designer at Haglöfs, puts it:
“The Rapak Poncho is technical and defined by innovation, function and minimalism. It’s a super-light hybrid jacket with the function of a Scandinavian shell jacket and a look inspired by Japanese ponchos. It canbe worn during a hike but looks just as good in the city.”
The jacket is water- and windproof, thanks to its light and highly protective 3-layer PROOF™ fabric –Haglöfs’ most sustainable, waterproof, windproof and breathable material. The jacket is cut long and equipped with a large pocket, as well asside buttons that make it easy to get on and off. The Rapak Poncho is designed so that you can easily fit a backpack underneath it, protectingnot only you, but your gear as well.
The Rapak Poncho comes in unisex sizing S/M and L/XL and will be available in black and beige from February 2019. Estimated retail price is 240€.
