#WHATSYOURLINE – FIND IT, SHARE IT, BECOME A HAGLÖFS AMBASSADOR

Are you the next Haglöfs ambassador? The Swedish outdoor gear company is relaunching its classic Vassi freeride line and looking for someone who is passionate about freeriding – Haglöfs is giving its fans the chance to step up, submit their own films, and bag an exclusive ambassador contract with the company.

Stockholm, January 2020: The Haglöfs FW2020 collection sees the return of Vassi – a professional-level range of gear made for dedicated freeride enthusiasts and the harshest conditions they face. To celebrate this, and to properly put the gear through the test, Haglöfs is looking for a new ambassador to become a member of the Haglöfs Family. The best news? Everyone's in with a chance to win.

Haglöfs understands the importance of authenticity in a high-performance sport like freeriding, as well as the sheer joy of finding your line through the backcountry. As a result, they are asking their fans in the freeride community to ride a line that they really want to show off, and film themselves doing it. They can do this from their own POV, from above, from the side – any way they want. Then, all they need to do is post it to their Instagram feed or stories, tagging @haglofs and using the hashtag #whatsyourline. Multiple entries are encouraged and the official Haglöfs account will repost submissions: a winner will then be chosen and revealed during Haglöfs Åka Skidor Freeride Days.

The winner will receive the following:

- A 50,000 SEK, one-year Haglöfs ambassador contract

- An additional 30,000 SEK for use on outdoor projects

- Take part in the forthcoming Vassi campaign

- A full set of Vassi gear

A second prize of 20,000 SEK for outdoor projects and a full set of Vassi gear, and a third prize of a full set of Vassi gear, will also be awarded.

For those who are looking for inspiration, the #whatsyourline hashtag has already made an appearance on the Haglöfs Instagram feed, and pictures and videos will continue to emerge throughout the start of 2020.

The Vassi line was first developed in 2012, in collaboration with skier Per Jonsson Öhlin. It was made specifically to fit the demands of freeriding and was met with real enthusiasm and rave reviews from the community. This fall, the line relaunches: updated and improved for the new decade, consisting of a jacket and a bib pant that are equipped with RECCO reflectors for safety and searchability, and constructed with GORE-TEX Pro for really solid protection and performance.
