PROOF | GET CLOSER TO NATURE

Invention has become tradition for Haglöfs, and nothing proves this better than PROOF™. In developing this innovative and extremely protective high-performance material technology for outdoor wear, Haglöfs explored every aspect of sustainable thinking so that its environmental footprint is as low as possible.

PROOF™ is a highly protective material technology, developed by Haglöfs to provide an outstanding level of weatherproofing for their premium, highly functional outdoor garments. It provides a truly effective barrier against all kinds of precipitation, as well as real protection from harsh winds. But that's not all: PROOF materials are also made with environmentally friendly fabrics, including bluesign®-approved textiles – responsibly sourced and created materials that meet the toughest set of environmental standards in the industry.

Eco PROOF™ Jacket | Replaceable details, long-lasting performance

The Eco PROOF™ Jacket is built to last a lifetime. As well as providing superb protection, the jacket has been designed in a way so that every small detail – right down to the zipper – can be removed and easily replaced. Let it accompany you on all of your adventures, and really put it through its paces: safe in the knowledge that wear and tear isn't going to put it out of action. And it's also genuinely in sync with nature. To minimize the environmental footprint of the jacket, the material used in its construction is bluesign® approved, even down to the smallest details. It's made from recycled materials and completely free from fluorocarbons.

Haglöfs Skuta Mid PROOF™ Eco| Stay dry and comfortable in challenging conditions

The Haglöfs Skuta Mid PROOF™ Eco is a supportive and tough trekking shoe with a wide forefoot for extra comfort, developed in association with ASICS. It provides the wearer with a perfect grip on treacherous, slippery trails, and it's made with sustainable and water-resistant PROOF™, fluorocarbon-free materials, and a recycled lining. With this shoe, Haglöfs is helping to usher in a new era of sustainable modern hiking.

Together with a handful of suppliers, Haglöfs can – and will – continue to design and develop the best PROOF™ fabrics as possible. Haglöfs' aim is to create premium quality fabrics that are also as sustainable as possible.

More than a century ago, Wiktor Haglöf designed a backpack for local workers in the small Swedish town of Torsång. The creation of this durable, practical backpack would mark the beginning of what has now become one of the world’s largest manufacturers of outdoor clothing, footwear and hardware. The Haglöfs brand is currently marketed to the Nordic region, Europe and Asia, and has been owned by ASICS Corporation since 2010. For more info, please visit www.haglofs.com

Welcome to Haglöfs!

We come from Sweden, a country of extreme weather and extensive landscape. A place where the outdoors isn’t just a far off place, it’s in the fabric of our culture and community. We are committed to creating gear that will support anyone, anywhere in their own outdoor adventure. We were founded in 1914 by Wiktor Haglöf, a visionary with a dream and a toolbox. Our story has evolved from humble beginnings, and we’ve ventured into new territory, creating technical designs that set a new standard in craftsmanship.

At Haglöfs, we are Outsiders by Nature. We draw outside the lines, think outside the box, and live outside our comfort zones. We encourage exploration both physically and mentally through embracing the outdoors. We believe that everyone can experience the outdoors, and do all we can to ensure that it will still be there for future generations to explore.
