    ​With one year to go to the Handweaving Fair, the Swedish Weaving Council can now give a taster of the programme to come. Visitors to the Fair will be able to enjoy parts of the programme both in Halmstad as well as around the region of Halland.

    LIEBHERR World Team Table Tennis Championships in Halmstad, Sweden, concluded with double Chinese gold medals, a historic medal for Unified Korea and a surprising bronze medal for Sweden. In total Halmstad Arena had 25 000 spectators and more than 300 million followed the championships on TV.

    The cycle route Kattegattleden, which runs along Halmstad’s beautiful coastline, has won the prestigious award “Cycle Route of the Year 2018” at the European cycle- and hiking fair “Fiets en Wandelbeurs”.
