VERBIER, Switzerland – September, 2025: The Freeride World Tour by Peak Performance (FWT) is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with HEAD, a global leader in ski equipment innovation and performance. Beginning with the 2026 season, HEAD will become the Official Supplier of the FWT, providing skis, ski boots, and poles for staff at all Pro Tour stops. The partnership also includes TYROLIA, the ski bindings brand of the HEAD group. TYROLIA will supply bindings for the Tour and be featured across all relevant operations and event activations. The agreement spans three seasons, from 2026 through 2028.
A long-term commitment to freeride
HEAD | TYROLIA will play a leading role across all aspects of the Tour’s organization and execution.
In addition to their involvement in the six Pro events held each season, HEAD and TYROLIA will also participate in the historic first edition of the FIS Freeride World Championships, scheduled for 2026 in Andorra. This landmark event marks a new chapter in the evolution of competitive freeride, further strengthening the discipline’s global profile under the governance of the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS).
Performance and precision in the mountains
HEAD brings to the Freeride World Tour its long-standing reputation for cutting-edge technology and high performance. On the other hand, TYROLIA has a long track record of creating reliable and safe bindings. The brand is known for producing skis that are both powerful and versatile – essential qualities for navigating the extreme and unpredictable terrain that defines freeride.
HEAD skis are already trusted by several FWT athletes, including Jenna Keller (SUI), Abel Moga (ESP), Lena Kohler (GER), and Carl Regnér Eriksson (SWE), whose results and riding style exemplify the performance HEAD | TYROLIA equipment is built to deliver. HEAD is also the brand of choice for former top FWT athletes such as Hedvig Wessel (NOR), 2024 FWT Champion, and Jess Hotter (NZL), 2022 FWT Champion.
Through close collaboration with athletes, HEAD | TYROLIA has continually refined its products to meet the demands of elite freeriders.
Supporting freeride at every level
Beyond competition, this partnership reflects HEAD | TYROLIA’s investment in the freeride community. By equipping FWT staff with high-performance skis, boots, poles, and TYROLIA with bindings, HEAD ensures that the operational side of the Tour receives the same technical support as the athletes themselves. Whether during venue inspections, mountain safety coordination, or live event production in remote alpine settings, having the right equipment is essential – and HEAD | TYROLIA is now a key part of that foundation.
FWT and HEAD | TYROLIA share a common commitment to excellence, progression, and respect for the mountains. This partnership represents a convergence of vision and values that will help shape the future of competitive freeride on a global scale.
