Historic triple victory for the HEAD Worldcup Rebels in Gurgl

The HEAD Worldcup Rebels celebrate a special moment in the team's history at the Slalom in Gurgl when, for the first time ever, HEAD wins a historic triple victory in the men's Slalom. This amazing result was led by Paco Rassat, who celebrated his first World Cup victory with an extraordinary second run. The French athlete was in 14th place after the first run and made the most of the challenging conditions with an impressive chase that landed him in the lead. His debut victory sees him set a personal milestone and make a decisive contribution to this historic HEAD triumph.

The triple victory was sealed by Armand Marchant in second place, winning the first-ever World Cup podium for Belgium, and Atle Lie McGrath, who raced to the podium in a commanding third place. Both athletes delivered this impressive result with outstanding technical performance, emphasising the strength of the team that made all the difference on the day.

HEAD Racing Director Rainer Salzgeber is extremely satisfied with the team:
"For me, this is an incredible result. We already had a great result in Levi with 3rd and 4th place, and this is simply unbelievable. The hard work over the past few years has totally paid off. A big thank you goes to every person in my team, especially Patrick Wirth and Stefan Kappaurer, who have done an awesome job."

The HEAD team clocked strong performances across the leaderboard. Linus Strasser skied a highly competitive race to finish in eighth place, confirming that he is a major force to be reckoned with in the World Cup. Immediately behind him, Albert Popov grabbed ninth place, superbly rounding off this historic moment for the HEAD Worldcup Rebels.
