    　ヤマハ発動機株式会社が「第45回東京モーターショー2017」などに出品し人気を博した「MOTOROiD（モトロイド）」が、世界最高峰のデザイン賞のひとつである「Red Dot Award：デザインコンセプト2018」において、大賞となる「Luminary award（ルミナリー賞）」を受賞しました。日本の企業が同賞を受賞するのは初めてのことです。
    　「Luminary award」は、世界55ヵ国より応募された5,640点のうち、1点のみが選ばれます。「MOTOROiD」は、 “Best of the Best” （上位40点）に選出され、さらにその中からトップ3として「Luminary award」にノミネートされていました。同賞の受賞は9月28日、シンガポールで行われた授賞式にて発表されました。
