    自動運転の社会実証実験への7人乗り小型車両の提供について　20年以上にわたり培ったゴルフカーの電磁誘導式自動運転技術を転用

    　ヤマハ発動機株式会社は、2017年9月30日から熊本県芦北町ではじまる「中山間地における道の駅等を拠点とした自動運転サービス」の実証実験に、ゴルフカーをベースにした小型自動車を提供します。
    　このたび当社が提供する車両は、国内向けのゴルフカー「G30sシリーズ」をベースとし、公道走行をするための道路運送車両法に沿った保安部品（ウインカーやバックミラーなど）や新たに開発した走路記憶型の障害物検知ステレオビジョンを装備・搭載しています。なお、自動運転の仕組みは、当社が1996年より全国のゴルフ場で運行されているゴルフカーの電磁誘導式自動運転の技術を転用したものです。
    　このたびの実証実験のルートは、道の駅「芦北でこぽん」と芦北町役場を結ぶ全長約6.3km（自動運転区間は約4.1km）です。自動運転区間では最高時速12km/h、手動運転区間では19km/hでめぐり、病院や社会教育セ
