Colourful and expressive capsule machines from Löfbergs

Löfbergs is expanding its assortment of capsule machines with two new models. On one hand, we have a hot, expressive Portuguese and on the other, a classic, but colourful Italian. They are both suitable for home or the smaller office.

- We know that a lot of coffee lovers are interested in colour and form. We are excited to be able to give them more alternatives, says Leif Sjöblom, Marketing Manager at Löfbergs.

A hot and expressive Portuguese
The Portuguese Flama is a compact machine with a modern form. At first, it will be available in black and white. The model has an extra high operating temperature (about 95 degrees Celsius), which makes it especially suitable for fine-grind coffee.

A colourful Italian
The Italian Caffitaly M3 is a follow-up to Caffitaly M2 that received highest marks when the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter tested capsule machines last year. It comes in six exquisite metallic colours and in the classic colours of black and white.

- You can quickly make a good cup of espresso, fine-grind coffee, hot chocolate or tea with both of these models, says Leif Sjöblom.

The reservoir capacity is 1.2 litres and the container holds 10 used capsules. This is what makes Flama and M3 suitable for home or the smaller office.

High hopes for the Christmas trade
The capsule market is steadily growing in the sector of consumer goods in Sweden and has doubled every year since 2010. At the same time, the capsule machine is becoming more common in Swedish homes.

- In 2010, about 2 % of Swedish households had a capsule machine; last year that number was almost 8 %. We believe that the number will be double-digit after this year's Christmas trade, says Leif Sjöblom.
