X-Road Recognised as a High-Potential Interoperability Solution by the Interoperable Europe Board
X-Road® has been recognised as a high potential interoperability solution on the Interoperable Europe Portal. The solution has been highlighted by the Interoperable Europe Board as demonstrating high potential to become a labelled Interoperable Europe Solution.
According to the Interoperable Europe Portal, the high potential interoperability solutions have demonstrated their potential across five key areas: needs and user centricity, reusability, security and data protection, openness, and sustainability.
X-Road is an open-source data exchange layer that enables organisations to exchange data securely and reliably while retaining control over their own systems and data. X-Road has evolved into a digital public infrastructure component used worldwide by governments and public sector organisations, and increasingly by private sector ecosystems.
The recognition by the Interoperable Europe Board reflects X-Road's long-standing role in advancing interoperability both nationally and across borders.
