NNIT strengthens profitability in Q3 2025 through continued operational efficiency and solid order momentum

NNIT delivered another step‑up in profitability in the third quarter of2025 while maintaining revenue in line with expectations despite a globally uncertain environment. Improved utilization, cost discipline, and positive order trends supported stronger margins across the business.

NNIT continued the positive momentum from late Q2 2025, driven by an uplift in customer activity and solid order entry, positioning NNIT well for growth into Q4 2025 and in 2026.

“We are pleased to see that our customers continue to value NNIT as a trusted partner, even in a global environment marked by ongoing uncertainties. The strength of our relationships, the growing order entry, and the high customer satisfaction scores underline our position in the market,” says Pär Fors, CEO, NNIT, and continues:

“This quarter clearly shows the positive impact of our strategic focus on efficiency and margin improvements. We are becoming a leaner, more agile organization with stronger delivery capabilities and a sharper commercial execution across all regions. As we head into the final quarter of the year, we are well positioned to sustain momentum and continue building a more resilient and profitable NNIT.”

Key highlights

  • Group operating profit before special items was DKK 35.6 million, equal to a margin of 8.2%, more than doubling from the same quarter last year (Q3 2024: DKK 17.5 million), driven by efficiency programs, cost reductions, and improved utilization
  • Revenue in Q3 2025 amounted to DKK 431.6 million, a decline of 2.9% year-over-year (organic decline: ‑1.4%), in line with expectations amid continued macroeconomic uncertainties
  • Strong order entry across all regions providing momentum into Q4 2025 and for 2026, supported by new customer wins in Denmark, US and Europe

Regional performance highlights

  • Region Denmark: Strong performance driven by the public sector, SAP and SCALES. New contracts, including the Danish Agency for Digital Government, add to a solid future pipeline, and NNIT has expanded its collaboration with a major public sector customer to deliver advanced AI solutions enhancing decision‑making and operational efficiency
  • Region US: Significant improvement in profit margin despite lower revenue, driven by higher utilization and tight cost control. New partnerships with Care Advantage Inc. to deploy NNIT’s advanced AI platform, and Simtra BioPharma Solutions further strengthen NNIT’s presence in the US life sciences and healthcare markets
  • Region Europe: Margin improved through structural cost reductions and capacity optimization, despite customer projects being postponed amid market hesitation. Revenue declined year‑over‑year, but the order book remains strong supported by new customer wins in the life sciences domain
  • Region Asia: The region maintained a positive trajectory and delivered higher profitability versus last year. Efficiency gains and new customer engagements supported continued progress despite ongoing macroeconomic uncertainties and price pressure

Outlook for2025

NNIT confirms the full‑year 2025 guidance, expecting organic revenue growth and operating profit margin before special items in the lower end of the respective ranges.
