    The Schilthorn summit is once again accessible to all!

    On Saturday, 15th March 2025, the Schilthorn - Piz Gloria will open again after being inaccessible for five months. The first track of the two new Funifor cable cars will start operating and the 360° restaurant and the Top Shop will also open again. Construction work will continue in parallel with guest operations. The major project will be completed in spring 2026.

    The 81st International Inferno Races 2025 in Mürren are history: a Bernese Oberland triple victory was thwarted in both the men's and women's downhill races. Kilian Burri from Boltigen and Tanja Brawand from Grindelwald both came out on top. However, the race was clearly dominated by the warm temperatures, which simply made it impossible to win with a high start number.

    Today, Saturday, 14th December 2024, the time has come: the world's steepest cable car starts operating. The new direct connection between Stechelberg and Mürren was officially opened the day before as part of a VIP opening ceremony. At the same time, the first section of the cable car between Mürren and Birg will go into operation.

    The snowpark in the Mürren-Schilthorn ski area is now called Pända Snowpark

    The renowned Skyline Snowpark in the Mürren-Schilthorn ski area will have a new name from this winter onwards: Pända Snowpark. In collaboration with Pända Freestyle Ltd., the snowboard and freeski offer will be strengthened both on the mountain and in the valley when they open the first freestyle hall in the region in spring 2025.

    The 62nd Annual General Meeting of the Schilthorn Cableway Ltd. took place on Friday, 21 June 2024. 204 shareholders attended the meeting in Mürren. The company can look back on a record year in 2023. The SCHILTHORNBAHN 20XX project will still have a major impact on day-to-day operations for some time to come.
