EIT Health is launching a project to explore requirements for establishing a new paradigm in start-up incubation. AstraZeneca and Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) will join as industry participants. HealthCap, a European investor, and Vectura. The incubator aims to guide start-ups by providing access to capital, growth capabilities, expertise, and a collaborative environment.
Norway joins the European life science network EIT Health. Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is joining the EIT Health network with Norway Health Tech (NHT) as a strategic partner where NHT’s strong network vertically integrates the health ecosystem and provide a unique collaboration ground for prompting and delivering innovation to transform the healthcare market.
The medical technology company Resitu Medical AB, working with an innovative solution for tumor biopsies, announced today that Almi Invest, Stockholm Business Angels (STOAF) and private investors have invested €750 000 in the company. The investment will be used to initiate a development project aiming for CE marking in 2023. An additional SEK 20 million will be raised through equity.

DTU er en af de EIT Health Partners, der modtager projektmidler til forbedrede diagnostiske tests. Finansieringen på totalt 7 millioner € er et af EIT Healths initiativer for at imødekomme pandemien ved at bruge sin styrke som netværksorganisation.
