  • Chalmerspris till nytt sätt att mäta Göteborgsluften

    Hur kan luftkvaliteten i Göteborg mätas på ett effektivare och billigare sätt? Genom att montera sensorer på elbussar som körs i innerstaden. Idén har utvecklats av en grupp Chalmersstudenter som nu belönas med Chalmers Entrepreneurial Student Award i samarbete med Hogia. Nu har miljöförvaltningen i Göteborg möjlighet att få en bättre helhetsbild av luftkvaliteten till en låg kostnad.

  • Digitalisering av avfallshåndteringen

    Nå kommer det til å bli enklere for transportselskaper som håndterer avfall å planlegge sine transportoppdrag. Hogia lanserer et nytt skyprodukt, Hogia Moveit Recyleit, som skal hjelpe transportselskaper med å effektivisere transportplanleggingen. Med mer effektiv planlegging av kjøreruten kan man redusere drivstofforbruket, hvilket er positivt både for miljøet og økonomien.

    For the third year in a row, Swedish IT company Hogia has had a record year: Sales increased from SEK 565 million to SEK 605 million. For the 10th consecutive year employees numbers increased by 25 people bringing the company total to 675. Net profit rose from 34 to SEK 36 million, which is a profit margin of 6%, says Bert-Inge Hogsved, Hogia's founder and CEO.

  • This year's Christmas present to nature

    The latest report from the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - the target of keeping global warming to a maximum of 2 degrees Celsius is about to become unachievable. Instead, we are heading towards a temperature increase of 3 degrees. Things are starting to get urgent. This year Hogia is donating to the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (SSNC) for its work on climate change.

  • Hogia wins business in Tunisia

    Hogia Ferry Systems has signed an agreement with the Tunisian ferry operator Compagnie Tunisienne de Navigation (CTN) to deliver the reservation and ticketing system BOOKIT. CTN operates a cruise-like passenger and vehicle ferry service from Tunis to Genoa, Italy and from Tunis to Marseille, France and has intentions to expand their business further.

  • Reino Johansson is the new Chairman of the Board of Hogia

    Hogia AB has appointed Reino Johansson as the new Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Jan Rudberg, who is retiring after 20 years. Reino Johansson has extensive management experience working in various positions with PwC, Deloitte Telia and Ericsson.

  • Port of Heysham’s timely digitalisation of RoRo port terminal

    The RoRo terminal at the Port of Heysham is the hub for a large part of the freight that travels between north-west England, the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the Isle of Man. Port of Heysham awarded to Hogia the contract to supply a terminal operating system to digitalise the management of freight transport through the terminal thereby increasing the terminal’s efficiency.

  • Eckerö Linjen signs with Hogia and Visit Group

    Eckerö Linjen, operator of ferry services between Sweden and Åland, has signed two new contracts for booking systems. To offer a more flexible and modern booking solution for its travellers, an agreement has been signed with Hogia Ferry Systems for bus and ferry bookings, and with Visit Group for Åland accommodation and tourism services.

  • Hogia participates in award winning project

    At London Transport Awards on March 1st, the London Demonstrator of European Bus System of the Future 2 (EBSF2) programme won the Most Innovative Transport Project award. The award was presented by Leon Daniels and was collected by Mathew Hudson of Transport for London.

  • Sustainable transportation a hot topic at the School of Business, Economics and Law

    In December, Hogia’s Lars Tingström visited the Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law and delivered a presentation on sustainable transportation based on integrated and standardised IT systems. It’s a subject that appeals to many people, not least the students at the School’s Logistics Faculty.

  • Norges første alt-i-ett reiseapp i Møre og Romsdal

    Siden juli har reisende med kollektivtrafikk i Møre og Romsdal fått en enklere hverdag. FARA har i samarbeid med DataGrafikk, utviklet og levert en helt ny reiseapp som samler ruteplanlegging, sanntidsinformasjon og billettering.

  • ​Utvikling av en alt-i-ett-reiseapp i Norge

    Den 1. juni lanserte Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune en ny app som skulle gjøre det enkelt for de reisende å få tilgang til all informasjon som er nødvendig for å reise kollektivt. Reiseplanlegging, billettkjøp, sanntidsinformasjon og avviksinformasjon for busser, hurtigbåter og ferjer i Møre og Romsdal samlet i én og samme app. Appen har slått an på kort tid og er lastet ned 20 000 ganger.

  • Hogia’s cloud solution takes Danish bus services into the future

    In collaboration with Hogia, Movia has introduced a whole new way of managing real-time information to and from its buses. The result is a new basis for the division of responsibility for the technology in buses between the public transport authority and bus operators, which altogether gives greater freedom and lower costs.

  • Hogia expands within the transport industry

    IT-supplier Hogia continues its pattern of steady growth and is now investing in a new business area, Hogia Transport Systems. Transport Systems will oversee all Hogia’s activities within the transport industry. This new business area has a predicted growth of 35 percent by 2020.

  • Ny tjänst för bussförare underlättar byten

    Hogia lanserar en ny tjänst som gör bussförarnas radiosystem smartare. När en buss närmar sig en bytespunkt behöver inte föraren själv identifiera vilka de övriga anslutande bussarna är. Radiosystemet bildar automatiskt en kommunikationsgrupp med de bussar som befinner sig vid bytespunkten och som lätt kan nås via anropsknappen. Stressen för förarna minskar och servicen till resenärerna ökar.

  • Driving secure transport communications

    Swedish IT company Hogia can now help bus companies to improve the efficiency of communication between traffic management and bus drivers. Based on TETRA technology, Hogia can link up traffic management systems to national radio communication systems. This provides buses with a stable, user-friendly radio system. Transport companies in Sweden are now using this solution, with positive results.

  • Hogia kopplar Rakel till kollektivtrafiken

    Nu kan Hogia hjälpa kollektivtrafikbolag att effektivisera kommunikationen mellan trafikledningen och bussförarna genom att koppla trafikledningssystem till det nationella kommunikationssystemet Rakel. Busstrafiken får ett användarvänligt och stabilt radiosystem och personalen får en tryggare arbetsmiljö med mindre stress. Hogia visar de nya funktionerna på Persontrafikmässan 18-20 oktober.

  • Hogia recruits Nettbuss Express's CEO

    Hogia continues its focus on international public transport, and has further strengthened its industry expertise by recruiting Mats Johansson, former CEO of Nettbuss Express. Mats will be in charge of Hogia's initiative aimed at international bus and train operators, in which Hogia plans to invest nearly GBP 1 million over the next two years.
