THE INSTRUCTOR COMPETITION IS BACK: WHO’S GOING TO BE THE SUPERSTAR OF 2024?

You know the set-up from Idols and Dancing with the Stars. Did you also know, that since 2014 the international group fitness brand, Les Mills, have been running their own version of these famous competitions, with auditions, prizes and the whole thing? The name of the instructor competition is SUPERSTAR and this year, it’s back live.

Application already opened to go to live auditions during March and April in Stockholm, Warsaw, Copenhagen and Helsinki. In each city participants will compete for a spot in the semi-finals and eventually to go to the grand Finale in Stockholm the 27^th of April.

The prizes are bigger than ever. The winner of the competition this year will receive a spot at the LES MILLS TRAINING CAMP, a paid vacation to Greece with lots of training – including an opportunity to teach there alongside Nordic Trainers and Presenters. On the list of glorious prizes is also an education from Improve Educations, prizes from Adidas, NOCCO and Polar.

“It’s about honouring our instructors. They’re our superstars and a big part of our success. The competition does not only that, but also creates opportunity for development as an instructor and person – and for some, it can change their career. We have quite a few talented Trainers, that were spotted in the Superstar competition” says Lena Holmberg, CEO of Les Mills Nordic.

And the essence of the competition is just that. Creating opportunity for development, for career but especially for honouring the talent in the instructor community.
