A strong and iconic shape that stands out in every room and at the same time a flexible and social team player designed to be combined in different formations. Jin Kuramoto’s Maki easy chair is a self-evident expression of his and Offecct’s design identity.
Offecct has won an award in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019. Jin by Jin Kuramoto received the Red Dot: Best of the Best, the top distinction in the competition. It is granted for ground-breaking design and goes to the best products in a category.
The chair Jin, raised enormous attention when the prototype developed within Offecct Lab was first displayed at Salone Del Mobile i Milano 2017. During Stockholm Furniture Fair 2018 Jin is presented as a novelty in the Offecct collection and it has been awarded ”Best product” in Editors Choice Award 2018.
The Jin chair garnered a great deal of attention when it, as a prototype under development in Offecct Lab, was exhibited at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2017. Now it is part of Offecct's range presented in biobased Flax Fibre, and an upholstered version is being planned 2018.
Feather light, super strong and 100 percent biological.
