Welcoming Alexia Genin to the team

Welcoming Alexia Genin as our Chief Technology Officer!

We’re very pleased to share that Alexia Genin has joined ReCarber as Chief Technology Officer. Alexia is a Chemical Engineer with over a decade of international experience in the energy sector. She joins us from TotalEnergies, where she most recently served as Senior Business Development Manager for Carbon Capture & Storage. Over the past five years, she has helped shape and develop some of Europe’s most advanced CCS projects, including Aramis (Netherlands), Antwerp@C (Belgium), and Bifrost (Denmark).

Her background spans technical project and business development, ESG investor relations, financial analysis and large-scale infrastructure planning, giving her a unique perspective on what it takes to move complex climate projects from idea to reality.

At ReCarber, we’re focused on building scalable, financeable BECCS solutions—starting in the Nordics. With Alexia onboard, we’re strengthening our ability to navigate the technical and strategic challenges that come with delivering impactful carbon removal at scale.
