Bloggers at #SIME12: Introducing Christoffer du Rietz +1

If you followed the bloggers of SIME Stockholm last year, the name Christoffer du Rietz may ring a bell. He did a fab job covering #SIME11, and we’re more than happy to welcome him again.

Hi Christoffer! For the ones who doesn’t know you – please, introduce yourself.

– Hi! I run a mobile app studio of 6 people out of Stockholm and Gothenburg called Mobisle, where I act as Head of Design, and also consult as a digital designer with a wide variety of clients. Since it’s no question mobile is the future of digital, this is my main focus and the perspective I will take on during SIME. Also, since I run my own company and we’re about to lunch a great new mobile dating service, I’m naturally very interested in the entrepreneurial and investor sessions.

What are your thought on ‘the future is back on track’ – this years main topic at SIME Stockholm??
– I see some irony in it, with a wink to 1999. We’re currently living in very exiting but also very weird times. The digital markets are at a 1999-like peak, with outrageous company valuations and no revenues, business model or tangible assets, while at the same time the world is in a deep financial crisis. It’s really going to be interesting to hear the attendants’ take on it all.

And which attendants or session are you looking forward to the most?
– There’s more than ever happening in the on-demand entertainment space right now with whole range of competitors crowding up the place in both TV, movies and music, so it’s going to be interesting to hear TV4, Magine, Comoyo, Spotify et. al. give their view of it all. It’s also always interesting to hear the state of the union from giants Facebook and Google. And Microsoft is more interesting to hear from than ever with their whole company turnaround going on. And lastly it’s going to be great to hear from a bunch of entrepreneurs that are on the top of their game, like Klarna co-founder Niklas Adalberth, spread their enthusiasm.

Finally – which +1 blogger are you bringing along to SIME and why?
–I’m bringing the very talented digital strategist Björn Alberts, who hired me for my first job and has been a mentor to me since. We’ve been to a couple of SIMEs together before and he always ads invaluable sense to the discussion. He’s been blogging for years and will love to have some new spark for thought to elaborate on the blog.
