20 Emerging Designers Selected for Design Talents at Formex in January

20 promising young designers have been accepted for Design Talents and will all be displaying their products at the fair. Design Talents is one of the most exciting zones at Formex, where up-and-coming designers get the chance to enter their products to be selected and put on display. At the press breakfast on January 17, one of the selected design talents will be announced as the winner of “Best in Show”.

– The zone at Formex where emerging young designers showcase their products and ideas always attracts a great deal of interest from producers, visitors and the press, says Kajsa Falck-Torlegård, Operational Project Manager at Formex.

Up-and-coming Swedish and international designers can apply for a space at Design Talents, giving them the opportunity to display their products to buyers, producers and the media—at the same time as Formex gets a welcome addition of exciting new talent. The award goes to the designer whose concept, style and presentation stands out a little more than the rest. In August 2021, the award went to Atelier Schönenberg and in August 2022 to Svea Barone.
