Arla Foods amba and Milk Link are pleased to be able to confirm that regulatory approval has been granted by the European Commission to merge. The Commission’s approval means that the merger will now complete on 1 October, enabling the formation of the UK’s number one dairy company.
Arla is targeting a 500 million litre increase in its raw milk supply by 2015 and is well on track to deliver this.

The proposal will result in the full merger of Milk Link, the UK’s leading dairy farmer co-operative and Arla Foods amba, one of the largest and most successful European dairy co-operatives.
