Cabernet Marketing forge new business connections at London leadership conference
On Sunday, September 23rd, direct sales and marketing specialists, Cabernet Marketing travelled to London to attend an invite-only industry leadership conference where the firm forged new business connections.

Held at the 4-Star Novotel London West, sales and marketing professionals from across the country travelled to London for the event. Attendees comprised of rookies as well as award-winning entrepreneurs and experienced business owners.
The conference was scheduled with the objective to bring together industry professionals, and via keynote speakers, provide them with information to help them progress their leadership capabilities and move their business forward.
Attendees were divided into two groups to attend bespoke seminars, tailor-made for their level in the industry. Six keynote speakers addressed each group. The rookies heard from speakers on the following topics: capitalising on the business opportunity, field sales, business foundations, goals: input v output, entrepreneur v employee mentality and fast track to leadership.
The second group comprised of those with more industry experience, and were addressed by six guest speakers who covered the following topics: how to have important conversations, goals, day one to working solo, working autonomously to assuming a leadership role, how to develop leaders and common concerns.
After the meeting had come to a close, attendees had the opportunity to socialise and network. Cabernet Marketing’s contractors capitalised on the opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals. The sales and marketing firm contends that networking is critical for business success and Managing Director, Amy Bushell urges the firm’s ambassadors to take advantage of every opportunity to build relationships and expand their network.
Commenting on the conference, Ms Bushell said “We heard from some incredible keynote speakers who shared valuable information that we are excited to start applying. One of the biggest advantages of attending industry events is the chance to meet new people and forge connections. There were some very successful and influential individuals in attendance, and I urged our contractors to make it their mission to get their attention and make a connection.”
