Don’t forget that this Sunday is the day of the first Bury 10k and family fun run. A number of the borough’s roads and junctions will be closed, or have access restricted, to ensure the safety of all those taking part.
A great night is in store for visitors to Bury town centre tomorrow night (Saturday 20 October) when Bury Light Night transforms the town centre from 6pm until late.
Bury Council consists of six towns, Bury, Ramsbottom, Tottington, Radcliffe, Whitefield and Prestwich. Formed in April 1974 as a result of Local Government re-organisation it was one of the ten original districts that formed the County of Greater Manchester.
