  • First announce revised X35 service from 4 September

    First Manchester has announced a revised timetable for the limited stop X35 service that connects Walmersley to Manchester via Bury to commence from September 4.
    The revised change in service replaces an original proposal to withdraw the X35 service which will now provide four limited stop journeys instead of the current eight. The changes, which are subject to final approval from the Traffic C

    A Bury man who fraudulently ran a bed and breakfast business from his Council house while also claiming Pension Credit and Housing Benefit, was convicted at Bury Magistrates Court on 9 August 2016. Mr Anthony Whewell of Moss Row, Bury pleaded guilty to unlawful sub-letting of his secure tenancy and to fraud by false representation
