Wreath laying during last year's Remembrance Sunday service in Bury

Press release —

Bury to pause, remember and pay tribute to those who served

Bury’s Armed Forces community is part of the life of our borough.

Veterans, serving personnel, reservists, cadets and military families live, work and contribute across our six towns and are part of a military story that stretches back generations.

To honour that service parades, services and wreath-laying ceremonies will be taking place across the borough to mark Remembrance Sunday.

Bury Festival of Remembrance, an evening of Remembrance with military musicians, spoken word from veteran families and performance from Bury Fire Choir also returns this year.

Everyone is welcome to come along - entry by tickets only at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/borough-of-bury-festival-of-remembrance-tickets-2003594855147?aff=oddtdtcreator
