Candidates declared for Ramsbottom by-election

Five candidates will contest the Ramsbottom by-election which is held on Thursday 6 March.

The candidates and their descriptions are:

• Dave Barker (UK Independence Party)
• David Foss (Liberal Democrats)
• Glyn Heath (The Green Party)
• Robert Hodkinson (The Conservative Party Candidate)
• Sarah Southworth (Labour Party Candidate)

Polling stations are open on election day from 7am to 10pm. Anyone who wishes a postal vote and who is not yet registered for one should contact Bury Council’s elections office by 5pm on Wednesday 19 February by calling 0161 253 5113 or emailing electionservices@bury.gov.uk
