Come and join the Carers Support Group

Help for those whose friends and loved ones have been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease is being offer at Pinfold Lane Day Centre.

The Carers Support Group is starting its regular meetings again on Thursday (29 January) from 7pm to 9pm. Visitors can talk to a range of professionals on all dementia-related matters, free of charge, and refreshments are available.

Pinfold Lane has a busy year ahead, with a range of events and fundraising activities. These include:

  • Saturday 14 March - Gardening Day (10am to 2pm). Volunteers can help to paint fences and garden furniture and carry out planting.
  • Sunday 29 March – Annual Spring Fayre (11am to 1pm). Free family event, with tombola, raffle, egg hunt, competitions, cafe and a Wild Wings birds of prey display.
  • Dementia Awareness Week – 18–25 May. All week the centre is running events to mark this major national event.
