Council vacates Castle Buildings

Bury Council has vacated the first, second and third floor offices at Castle Buildings in Bury town centre.

Nolan Redshaw has won the instruction and is marketing the offices from 2,937 sq ft up to 10,000 sq ft.

The property was rebuilt behind a listed façade, approximately 12 years ago, and provides modern, quality offices, which are DDA compliant, with car parking at the rear.

The premises can be made available on a long leasehold and leasehold basis.

Councillor Mike Connolly, leader of Bury Council, said: “A key part of the council’s Plan for Change is to rationalise the council’s office accommodation by moving staff from Castle Buildings into the town hall. These efficiency savings means the council is better placed to protect front-line services. The next stage is to ensure that these important town centre premises are brought back into use and I am pleased to appoint Nolan Redshaw as the council’s agents.”

Paul Nolan at Nolan Redshaw said: “I was involved with the original scheme on this building and we are excited at marketing this flexible accommodation. It is in the heart of the town centre and provides some of the best office space in the town.”

Enquiries should be made to Nolan Redshaw on 0161 763 0828.
