Customer Task Force helps shape future of social services

More than 20 Bury residents, customers, carers and representatives have been telling Bury Council how it can improve social care services for them.

The Customer Task Force held its sixth meeting at the Elizabethan Suite in Bury Town Hall, and took part in two interactive workshops and shared their experiences with like-minded people.

The group were given the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback on the Advocacy Service Remodel and test some new functions on the online resource, the Bury Directory.

A council spokesman said: “We received some excellent feedback and customers were excited about how much the directory has grown and developed over the last few months. The day was a great success and enjoyed by all – and we even recruited another new Task Force member. A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who took part, and your feedback is appreciated. We’re looking forward to the next event and the future of social care services.”
