Family history gift packs at the library

Stuck for an unusual present for someone this Christmas? Then get them started on the road to discovering their ancestry.

Bury libraries have family history gift packs for sale, costing £15. They include a two-hour taster session with an experienced member of staff, who will guide you through the Online resources available for researching your family history with the Library service. They also include a £5 Find My Past voucher so that you can access the online resource from home, a list of family history websites to help in your research, and either a record book for family history research or a copy of Routes – A Guide to Family History in the Bury Area.
