Free course on keeping chickens

A free short course on how to keep and care for chickens is held on Monday 23 September at Topping Fold Community Centre and Library.

The course will cover the basics of chicken keeping, different breeds, how to look after ex-battery hens, housing, feeding, general health concerns, what to look for when buying a chicken and information on where to buy things for chicken keeping.
