Free Online Basics course to make IT work for you

Want to access the internet, get to know about online banking, shopping, job hunting, keeping in touch with family and friends using email, while staying safe online?

You can join a free Online Basics course at your local library – these are aimed at beginners, run by an experience tutor in a relaxed environment, and there are no exams, you just work at your own pace.

Small group sessions are held as follows:

  • Bury Library - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 2.15pm
  • Bury Library - Wednesdays at 10.30am
  • Prestwich Library – Fridays, 10am to noon
  • Radcliffe Library – Tuesdays, 1pm to 3pm
  • Unsworth Library – Tuesdays, 10am to noon
  • Whitefield Library – Fridays, 1pm to 3pm

Booking is essential – call into Bury Library, or call 0161 253 7089.
