Get connected with free wi-fi in Bury libraries

Visitors to libraries throughout Bury will now benefit from free and unlimited wi-fi access for their smart phones, laptops and tablets.

The aim is to bring the internet to those who otherwise miss out by not being online. In the UK, around 10% of adults have never been online and this increases to 61% for those aged over 75.

The funding for the new service has come from the Government as part of its wish for all public libraries to offer free wi-fi.
