Help your favourite charity with a Christmas card

Staff at Bury Tourist Information Centre are getting in the festive mood and encouraging visitors to buy charity Christmas cards.

As an outlet for the Cards for Good Causes campaign, the centre has cards on sale which will raise funds for 25 national and local charities.

Angela Warrington from the TIC said: “Charity cards are a great way to support good causes and we are delighted to have Cards for Good Causes returning to the centre again this Christmas. Over the last five years charities have received £20 million from Christmas card sales and we are pleased to help to support this worthy cause.”

The TIC also stocks Bury calendars, along with a range of Christmas gift ideas.

The centre is located in the Fusiliers Museum on Moss Street and is open Monday to Friday (10am to 5pm) and Saturday (10am to 4pm).
