Knitters need your wool

Bury Library’s Knitting Group urgently needs donations of wool so it can continue to raise money for charity.

The group meets every Monday (1-3pm) and sells its knitted items in aid of local good causes such as the Christie.

Donations can be dropped off at Bury Library during normal opening hours, or telephone 0161 253 5872 or email bury.lib@bury.gov.uk”.

Knit and Natter groups also meet at libraries across the borough:

  • Radcliffe – Thursdays (2-3pm)
  • Brandlesholme – Thursdays (1.30-3.30pm)
  • Coronation Road – Mondays and Thursdays (10am-noon)
  • Dumers Lane – Wednesdays (10am-noon)
  • Moorside – Tuesday (2-4pm)
  • Topping Fold – Wednesdays (5-7pm)
  • Whitefield – Tuesdays (10-11am)
  • Unsworth – Fridays (2-4pm)
