Meet crime author Cath Staincliffe at Tottington Library

Award-winning writer Cath Staincliffe will be talking about her latest thriller “The Girl in the Green Dress” at Tottington Library.

Cath is a Manchester-based author and writes the Sal Kilkenny private eye stories. She is also a scriptwriter, and creator of “Blue Murder”, ITV’s hit detective drama starring Caroline Quentin as DCI Janine Lewis.

In 2012 she was joint winner for the Crime Writers Association’s Short Story Dagger award, and was also commissioned to write the Scott & Bailey books based on the popular ITV1 detective show. Her radio work includes drama series “Legacy”, featuring brother and sister heir hunters, and she also writes for Danny Brocklehurst’s Stonedetective drama.

The talk is on Tuesday 12 September (6.45pm to 8.15pm). You can buy signed copies of Cath’s latest book, and enter a free mystery prize draw.
