Meet the author on Bury Market

You can get most things on Bury Market, and now you can meet North West author Stephen H. Childs who is launching his debut novel.

Stephen will be there on Friday and Saturday (Nov 20 and 21) signing copies of his book “Once Upon A Dream”.

He was born in Oldham in 1948 and spent many years in the motor coach industry. He also played drums many years ago with several local groups, and it is this period of his life that he has used as inspiration for his book.

“Once Upon A Dream” is about a man leaving his mundane life in Glasgow in a quest for fame. His driving ambition takes him to the fringe of the big time, but what about the people he has left behind?

You can meet Stephen and buy a copy of his book in the Market Hall, next to the Christmas tree.
