New Casewells images reveal the next chapter in Bury's story

Bury town centre is already one of Greater Manchester's most successful places for shopping, leisure and culture. The next phase of investment is about protecting that success and building on it.

Today, new CGI images offer a first look at Casewells, the food, drink and events venue taking shape at Bury Market and set to become another important part of that story.

The newly released images show how Casewells will bring together food, culture and community in the heart of Bury town centre. Featuring food and retail units, a central bar and space for events and performances, the venue builds on the success of Bury's world-famous market while creating new reasons for people to spend time in the town centre throughout the day and evening.

Rooted in Bury's heritage and inspired by the borough's independent spirit, Casewells reflects a simple principle that runs through regeneration across Bury: growth should strengthen identity, not replace it.

Across the borough, regeneration is being delivered at pace, turning investment into real places to live, work and spend time. From town centre renewal and cultural activity to new opportunities for businesses and communities, growth is helping ensure Bury remains a place people recognise, use and feel part of.

Councillor Charlotte Morris, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Growth at Bury Council, said: "Casewells reflects the approach we're taking across the borough. We're not simply delivering new buildings. We're creating places that people use, enjoy and feel connected to.

"Bury is delivering regeneration at pace, but growth here builds on identity. The things that make our towns distinctive matter, and Casewells is a good example of that approach. It draws on Bury's heritage while creating new opportunities for people to come together, support local businesses and spend time in the town centre.

"These images show a place where food, culture and community come together, and where investment is delivering something people will experience and use every day.

“We’re particularly keen to make sure local food businesses benefit from the opportunities Casewells brings – please do get in touch.”

Andrew Burnett, Director of Midlands Events who will be operating Casewells, said: "We're incredibly excited to be bringing a vibrant new food and entertainment venue to Bury. The response from prospective food traders has been fantastic, giving us great confidence that the range and quality of food on offer when we open will be second to none.

"Combined with the exciting programme of live entertainment and events we have planned, we are confident Casewells will become a destination for people of all ages.

"We'd like to thank our colleagues at Bury Council for their support in helping bring this opportunity to life, and we look forward to becoming a valued part of Bury town centre and the wider community."

Should anyone wish to explore trading opportunities within Casewells, we would be delighted to discuss their ideas or business proposals.
